Translated from the Bengali editorial published in Śrī Gauḍīya Darśan, Volume 2, Issue 4, on Tuesday, 13 November 1956, in honour of the appearance day of Śrīla Bhakti Rakṣak Śrīdhar Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj.
I fall at the feet of Śrīla Śrīdhar-Deva, who with charming expression sings his songs of sweet nectar. Dressed with fine garments like sun newly-risen, he’s the true saint the devotees have chosen.
I offer my humble obeisances unto His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swāmī Prabhupāda, who is Kṛṣṇa’s beloved associate and who came down to this plane from Goloka.
Singing in separation from Śrīla Raghunāth Dās Goswāmī. In the second edition of Śrī Chaitanya Sāraswat Maṭh’s Śrī Gauḍīya-gītāñjali, Śrīla Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj added a series of kīrtans meant to be sung on the disappearance days of the six Goswāmīs. Presented here on the occasion of his disappearance day are the songs sung in honour of Śrīla Raghunāth Dās Goswāmī.

Śrīla Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj. A poem introducing Sri Gaudiya Darshan originally published in the very first issue, Sunday, 14 August 1955
Today is the Divine Disappearance day of Srila Haridas Thakur, and early in the morning, after mangal-arati in Dum Dum Park in Kolkata, Srila Govinda Maharaj spoke of Srila Haridas Thakur’s divine glories. The following are several of the themes His Divine Grace discussed.
Today is a very auspicious devotional sacrifice for the disappearance of Srila Haridas Thakur. Mahaprabhu’s brother, Vishvarupa, also took sannyas, and went out from his house. He left his divine appearance in this material world in South India, Kurma kshetra. Mahaprabhu met with Rangapuri, and Rangapuri gave him that news.
Appearance Day of Sri Vamanadeva
Today is also Vamanadeva’s aviribhava also. You know Vamanadeva? He appeared to teach Bali Maharaja. Bali Maharaja started a big fire sacrifice and there were so many big personalities. If he was successful then he could defeat everyone and permanently conquer the heavens and other places.
Today is a very auspicious day. It is the Appearance Day of Srila Jiva Goswami Prabhu, who is the protector of our Sampradaya and a great Acharyya. Srila Guru Maharaj said, Jivadyair abhiraksitam, our whole Sampradaya with so much wealth came from Jiva Goswami Prabhu.
Śrīla Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj describes the glory of madhura-rasa in Vṛndāvan. This article is an English translation of Śrīla Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj’s Bengali lecture on Śrī Rādhāṣṭamī in 1991.
Today is Śrī Lalitā Saptamī. It is an extremely worshippable and merciful day for conditioned souls because only the mercy of Lalitā Devī can give them service to Rādhārāṇī and Kṛṣṇa, the Divine Couple. We know Lalitā Devī’s position through Śrīla Rūpa Goswāmī Prabhu and the other Goswāmīs.
I described in many ways the glories of Srila Prabhupad, but actually no one can fully glorify His Divine Grace if one sees his divine work. No one can conceive the work he did. Who can conceive that throughout the whole world, all the mountains, islands, now everywhere Krishna-kirttan in happening.
Muralishwar Prabhu [MP]: He says: In ISKCON followers of Srila Swami Maharaj, they worship Nrisimhadev. Why Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math this worship is not like, so...
Goswami Maharaj [BSG]: Common.
MP: Yes, common. Is not so permanent. Nrisimhadev worship.
'Transcription of a talk given by His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj on this Holy Day in 2003, at the Villa Govinda Ashram in Milan, Italy.
After the disappearance of Śrīla Guru Maharaj, Śrīla Bhakti Rakṣak Śrīdhar Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj, difficulty must come, and we are facing that now. When Guru Mahārāj was present it was not necessary for us to maintain vidhi-mārg. But now it is necessary sometimes.
Why Krishna Has Dark Colour?
That is original form of Lord and it is very attractive and all... He is emporium of all rasa, then all rasa becoming... [bengali].
