Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj
Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj passed away from his material body on Monday, February 1, 2010. His cremation took place in Santa Cruz, California, accompanied by kirtan and the tears of many who loved him.
He left behind a lifetime of friends and well-wishers. Over Siddhanti Maharaj's long career in devotional life, he touched the hearts of thousands of devotees and sincere seekers.
Serving Srila A.C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupad, Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev Goswami Maharaj and Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev Goswami Maharaj, Siddhanti Maharaj traveled around the world preaching Krishna Consciousness, establishing temples and giving nourishment to many souls in their spiritual life. He published books and gave countless lectures on devotional service to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga.
He was always helping with whatever was needed to help in the progress of Mahaprabhu's mission.
He (initially known as Chidananda Prabhu Brahmachari) was encouraged to take Sanyas from Srila Govinda Maharaj a number of years ago, and was known as Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj.
He was a very beautiful and kind-hearted devotee. He was ever ready for Sankirttan, and his enthusiasm to serve Sri Guru and the Vaisnava's never slackened. There was no seva he would not do - nothing was too small or insignificant. He was a shining pillar of exclusive faith in Sri Guru, and his steady devotional spirit was exemplary. He was ever affectionate to the downtrodden, and a guardian for the weak.
Sripad Siddhanti Maharaja was a surrendered soul devoted to the Divine Conceptions of Srila Govinda Maharaja, Srila Sridhar Maharaja and Srila Swami Maharaja.
His humble mood and dynamic service capacity will be sorely missed.
